BSI
To get the BSI client for any environment, download the BSI launcher.
Once you have the launcher installed, you do not need to download it again.
Minimum system requirements for the BSI Launcher:
• 64-bit Windows OS (Windows 7 or later)
• macOS 10.13 High Sierra
Installing the Alternate BSI Test Launcher
The purpose of the alternate BSI test launcher is to provide a distinct instance for testing BSI launcher updates. The following instructions will guide you in how to install the alternate test launcher in parallel with your existing BSI launcher that you use to access the BSI production, mirror and UAT environments.
Windows:
- Download and run the Windows installer from this webpage.
- By default, the alternate test launcher will be installed in the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BSI-Alternate directory to avoid overwriting your existing launcher installation. If you select a directory other than the default directory, be certain not to overwrite your existing launcher directory.
- The alternate test launcher installation will a create second desktop icon for BSI named BSI-Alternate.
Mac:
- Download the Mac installer from this webpage. The application in the dmg installer will be named BSI-Alternate.
- Install the BSI-Alternate application on the desktop.
Testing Using an Alternate BSI Test Launcher
Once the alternate test launcher is installed, testing is easy. Use the BSI-Alternate desktop icon to launch the BSI client. If you can launch and log into the BSI client the test is successful.
